Property Manager
John started as property manager with Coldwell Banker Commercial in 2007 and manages a portfolio of class A office and retail properties. He is responsible for the financial and physical management which includes budgeting, approval of payables, collections, vendor contracting and supervision, and financial reporting.
John came to Coldwell Banker from Santa Fe Partners where he served as Director of Property Management. Prior to joining Santa Fe Partners, he was owner of Harrison Smith Properties Incorporated, a consulting firm contracted to provide on demand interim property management services.
His experience includes management of downtown and suburban office buildings as well as flex, retail and industrial properties. As an employee and later as a contractor with Glenborough Realty Trust Incorporated he supervised the management and leasing functions in individual offices in transition throughout the United States as the company expanded its holdings in core markets and exited secondary markets. This included oversight on portfolios valued to 146 million dollars with annual budgets of 11 million dollars.
John graduated from the University of Utah. He earned his Real Property Administrator (RPA) certification from the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI). He is also a licensed real estate broker and a member of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association).
