Peter began his commercial real estate career in 1988 in San Diego, California, after graduating with a major in economics from Middlebury College located in Vermont. He worked for market leader Iliff, Thorn and Company as a sales associate, where he became one of their top performing agents, representing both landlords with over 1,000,000 square feet in Class ‘A’ property listings, and national tenants including Titan Corporation, Northview Corporation and Metaflow Technologies. In 1993, Peter joined Hanford Healy Asset Management in San Francisco, where he appraised office, retail, industrial, hotel and land properties for institutional clients, including banks, insurance companies, REITS, pension funds, and governmental agencies. In 1994 Peter moved to Salt Lake City where he joined first Commerce Properties and then GVA Business Properties Group, becoming one of the top leasing and sales agents at both companies. In 1998, Peter had the distinction of closing the largest office lease transaction in Salt Lake City that year, representing GE Capital in a 120,000 square foot build-to-suit cumulative lease, and ending the year by closing leases totaling over 330,000 square feet with a lease value of over $32,000,000.00.
During the year 2000, Peter joined Coldwell Banker Commercial as a Senior Associate, specializing in leasing and investment sales. His past clients have included GE Capital, Arthur Andersen consulting, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Simmons Media Group, NPS Pharmaceuticals, and Healthrider/NordicTrack. Peter finished the years 2001 through 2004 by placing in the top five office leasing agents, company wide.
Over the years Peter’s has expanded his expertise to include investment and development feasibility analysis, TI construction management, market and redevelopment analysis, working knowledge of SBA loan/1031 exchange transactions as well as excelling in both tenant/buyer and landlord/seller representation. Peter works hard for his clients and strives to follow his vision of commitment to his clients’ long term success and achievement of their real estate goals.
