Steve joined the firm in 2006 as a Senior Property Manager and currently manages over 1 million square feet of office and retail properties. His responsibilities include budgeting, accounts receivable review and collection, tenant relations, property maintenance contracts, tenant improvement supervision, accounts payable supervision and financial statement review and approval.
Career Highlights Prior to his current position, Steve was the managing officer of the Salt Lake office of Transwestern Commercial Properties, a national commercial real estate firm. He was responsible for the management of office, industrial, flex and retail property in excess of 1,500,000 square feet. Steve has over 15 years of experience in managing retail, office, industrial and flex property. He also is experienced in leasing and construction management, having completed several tenant construction projects and building upgrades. Prior to joining Transwestern, Steve was a property manager with Wallace Associates, a successful commercial property management company in Salt Lake City. He managed a multi-property portfolio ranging from downtown, mid-rise office buildings to industrial property.
Professional Affiliations and Recognition:
Steve is an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and has earned the CPM designation. He serves on the Utah Chapter Board as a Committee Chairman.
Education:
Steve attended the LDS Business College and the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, with an emphasis in accounting and mathematics. He holds a Real Estate Broker license in Utah.
