Asset Services - Portfolio Accountant
Matt joined Coldwell Banker Commercial in 2008 as a Portfolio Accountant. He currently handles all accounting functions for a large portfolio of retail, office and industrial properties throughout the Western U.S.
His responsibilities include preparing monthly financial statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable and the day-to-day accounting activity for the commercial properties. He is also heavily involved in developing Best Practices in commercial property accounting strategy.
Matt is skilled in both MRI and YARDI Property Management accounting software. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial, Matt was a property accountant for CB Richard Ellis in Salt Lake City. He was in charge of accounting activity for multiple properties, including the 257 Tower Office Tower in downtown Salt Lake City.
Previous professional experience also included an accountant position in financial auditing with Automatic Data Processing (ADP). He was part of large audit and internal controls projects within the firm.
Education:
Matt earned an Associates of Science Degree of Business from Salt Lake Community College and later earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix in Salt Lake City.
