Debbie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a degree in Organizational Communications and an Allied degree in Marketing from the College of Business. She has spent over 18 years working in property management, retail and shopping center marketing and real estate. She was Director of Marketing for Crossroads Plaza in downtown Salt Lake City, working for Kravco, based in King of Prussia, PA, and The Lehndorff Group (L&B Group) out of Dallas, TX. She later moved into shopping center marketing nationwide, working with such developer clients as La Salle Partners, The Mills Corporation, Trizec-Hahn, JP Realty, Landau & Heyman, Compass Management, Winmar Company, Zion’s Securities, and others.
During her years with Prime Commercial, Inc., she has been involved with leasing for Valley Fair Mall, and Hidden Valley Shopping Center, and has assisted in tenant representation work for retail clients such as Office Max, PETCO, Gart Sports and others. While in shopping center marketing, she earned the designation of SCMD (Senior Certified Marketing Director) from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). She served for six years as the Utah State Chair for the ICSC Community Service Special Events Committee. Earlier in her career, she was named Outstanding Young Woman of the Year for Salt Lake City by the Salt Lake Jaycees.
