Steve Richards began his real estate career in 1986 with Marcus and Millichap Investment Real Estate Brokerage in Southern California. In 1993, after a wide range of investment real estate brokerage experience, he was one of the original agents to open the Utah market for Marcus & Millichap and in 1997 he was the agent of the year. During that time he closed over $36.9 million in transactions throughout the Western United States, specializing in apartments, office, retail and self-storage product types.
Goldman-Sachs recruited Mr. Richards to be a member of the acquisitions teams for Devon Self-Storage, a wholly owned company. Mr. Richards returned to brokerage in 2003 and joined the Investment Division of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT in 2006 where his scope of transactional management includes initiation, research, analysis, due diligence and marketing, all in a consistently outstanding effort to provide value added brokerage services to institutional, family trust and individual clientele.
