Rich Robins' broad commercial real estate background has helped him become a focused person, geared toward creating solutions to problems for the past 37 years. Rich has been involved in the management, leasing and development of all types of shopping centers, office buildings and properties throughout the West.
A 1972 graduate of the University of Utah, where he earned BS and MBA degrees, Rich acquired his Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation from the ICSC in 1975, and in 1978 he was presented with the ICSC's national award for "Innovative Development Techniques".
Rich has been very active with ICSC, serving two three-year terms as Utah State Director and one three-year term as Governement Affairs chairman. He has been serving as a program committee member since 1974
During his real estate career, Robins has functioned in many capacities, including the original manager of Trolley Square, a nationally recognized specialty and entertainment center, and as director of leasing for the Boyer Company, JP Realty, CRG and Prime Commercial.
For the past 17 years, he has been in the Retail Brokerage business, serving both tenants and landlords. Robins' expansive background and real estate involvement has enabled him to work with many national tenants, including JC Penney, Sears, Mervyn's, Wal-Mart, Target, Fred Meyer, K-Mart, Office Depot, Albertson's, Smith's Food and Drug, Safeway, Harmon's Grocery, Hollywood Video, Sally Beauty Co., Famous Footwear, Fuddruckers, Party City, Ruby Tuesday, Panda Express, Fasion Bug, Lane Bryant, Darden Restaurants (including Olive Garden and Red Lobster), Dress Barn, Godfather's Pizza, Joe's Sports, Outdoor & More, Jos. A. Banks, and others.
