Rich Robins’ broad development background has helped him become a focused person geared toward creating solutions to problems. For the past 35 years, Rich Robins has been involved in the management, leasing, and development of all types of shopping centers, office buildings, and properties throughout the west.
Shortly after graduation from the University of Utah in 1972, where he received his BS and MBA, Rich acquired his Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation from the ICSC. In 1978, he was presented with ICSC’s national award for “Innovative Development Techniques.” During his real estate career, Robins has functioned in many capacities, including the original manager for Trolley Square, a nationally recognized specialty and entertainment center, and as director of leasing for the Boyer Company and JP Realty and 10 years as a retail specialist with Colliers Commerce CRG.
Robins’ expansive background and real estate involvement has enabled him to work with many national tenants, including JC Penney, Sears, Mervyn’s, Wal-Mart, Target, Fred Meyer, K-Mart, Office Depot, Albertson’s, Smith’s Food and Drug, Safeway, Harmon’s Grocery, Hollywood Video, Ultimate Electronics, Sally Beauty Co., Famous Footwear, Fuddruckers, Party City, Ruby Tuesday, Food 4 Less, Panda Express, Fashion Bug, Lane Bryant and Darden Restaurants, including Olive Garden and Red Lobster, Dress Barn, Godfather’s Pizza, and The Teddy Bear Stuff’n Factory, Joe’s Sports, Outdoor & More, Jos. A Banks and others.
